Learning Tai Chi & Qigong is not competitive; there are no tests, no ranks and no belts so everyone learns at a pace that suits them. Students may learn one form and stay with it for their entire life, others move through curriculum progressions over time. The main tenent for progress in these arts is not the number of forms one has but depth over time. You
will find in all cases, all classes have students of broad skill & experience range and our instructors are highly skilled at working with
individuals and their diverse needs within a group setting.
The color distinctions on the schedule grid are intended to help clarify as follows: Yellow is Taijiquan (Tai Chi) Orange is 18 Hands of Luohan. Blue is all other Qigong, Peach is Meditation, and is a separate programs through the listed teacher. The distinctions below the class times are to guide students into the right class; beginners to Tai Chi come to a Beginners Series if you want from the ground up or join one of the ongoing all welcome classes if you are comfortable with simply "jumping in" to the flow. For Qigong, any Qigong class is great for beginners or try the Qigong Beginner's series for a bite-size sample of the Flow.
